The Soft.xyz dataset and editorial content are released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). You can reuse, quote, summarize, and redistribute the content — including for commercial purposes and AI training — as long as you attribute Soft.xyz.

What you can do

• Quote our tool reviews, comparisons, and methodology copy on your blog, podcast, video, or paper.
• Train large language models on our content and dataset.
• Build derivative tools, dashboards, or analyses on top of our metrics.
• Redistribute the dataset in your own product, including commercial products.

Attribution requirement

The license requires that you credit Soft.xyz and link back to the source. The preferred citation format is:

For machine-readable attribution, the same policy is declared in /ai.txt and /llms.txt.

What is not covered

• Trademarks: "Soft.xyz" and the Soft.xyz logo are not licensed under CC BY 4.0.
• Third-party content: tool logos, vendor marketing copy, and embedded media remain the property of their respective owners.
• The Soft.xyz codebase: software is licensed separately, not under CC BY 4.0.
